Ductless Opens A Door Of Possibilities…
Ductless air systems are technilogically advanced systems that deliver air directly into different zones as you choose. They consist of one outdoor unit and multiple indoor units depending on scale, and can be controlled from a wireless remote. The convenience of this, enables you to set different temperatures for different rooms or zones, and conserve energy while creating a custom environment based on your specific heating and cooling needs.
Since ductless systems can easily be installed with no ductwork, they are ideal for both homeowners or business owners who want a more perminant solution to window A/C units or space heaters. They heat and cool quickly, are reputed to be very quiet, easy to install, improve air quality, save energy costs and are considered to be a low maintenance alternative to forced air duct systems. A Mitsubishi ductless air unit helps to lower utility costs while offering a unique zone control system. In a traditional forced air system, you have one thermostat that controls the temperature of your entire home. In a Mitsubishi ductless system, you are able to control the temperature in each space (or zone) by remote control and set each area independently. This can drastically decrease your utility bill by allowing you complete control over your heating and cooling needs, lowering your energy consumption, and providing the option to designate specific temperature zones as needed.
For example, you may have a guest suite that is not used all the time, a basement area, laundry room, utility room or garage space that you may elect to set at a slightly lower temperature than the remainder of your living quarters. With a Mitsubishi ductless air system, you can set unused zones at a 55° degree point, while keeping your daily living spaces at a comfortable 70°. Imagine how much energy you can save if you don’t have to consistently heat and cool unoccupied spaces. However, with the touch of a button, you can warm or cool the space very quickly upon occupancy. It’s not only a very economical solution, but extremely customizable as well.
Economical & Convenient
A Mistsubishi Electric Ductless System saves a typical family between 30% and 40% the cost of a standard forced air system. You also do not have to have a furnace or separate air conditioning system. The Mistubishi system can do heating and cooling in one mini-split system. Not only are you conserving energy, but you can also save in maintenance costs associated with upkeep and repair for multiple household systems. Since ductless systems do not use the traditional duct air transport, you can maximize your living space and allows for easier reconfiguration during rennovations or future additions. They can be installed in new construction or existing construction, and help to increase the property value of your home.

Energy Efficient Cooling & Heating Systems
According to Energystar.gov, “In a typical house, however, about 20% of the air that moves through the duct system is lost due to leaks, holes and poorly connected ducts. With ductless heating and cooling, duct losses are eliminated – improving comfort, and saving you money. Replacing your system with an ENERGY STAR certified model could cut your heating and cooling cost by 30%.”
